Too much input = over stimulation, anxiety and exhaustion
Too much input can cause over stimulation, anxiety and exhaustion.People have different thresholds and levels of stimulation that are ideal for them. Too little and it is difficult to engage, to be interested. Too much and the mind races, has difficulty focusing, and becomes exhausted. The right amount creates focus, creativity and productivity/efficiently.This can translate into your level of stress. Too little and it's difficult to be motivated. Too much and it's counter productive. The right amount, while it may not be "comfortable", helps you become engaged and focused.Think of it as coffee (for coffee drinkers). Too little and it is hard to get moving. Too much and the mind becomes too active and unfocused. The right amount helps bring focus and energy. The question is, what do I do about it, how do I manage the input into my life and my stress? The answer may be obvious in some ways, which is to do less, take in less. But knowing what you might do in a general sense is just the start of the process.
